Drawing inspiration from the butterfly as a symbol of growth, rebirth, and freedom, Black Buttafly represents the journey of evolving through struggle into purpose. The name reflects both personal and collective experiences of Black life in Philadelphia, honoring strength, survival, and self-definition.
