Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great day.I've had a lovely summer and now I am excited and raring to go to start running my classes again!
Living with stress and anxiety is no joke and the more of us that know how we can regulate our nervous systems with the way we breathe, move and think the better!
I put up with feeling either down and disconnected or highly stressed for decades- I didn't even know what was wrong! I just 'toughed' it out and got on with life because what else is there if you don't know what's happening? I had my years on anti depressants and although they helped me at the time, I didn't see them as a long term solution and I wanted a more holistic approach that actually changed how my nervous system was reacting to the world. I have now found the lasting changes that I was looking for in breathwork, somatic movement and meditation. It is these powerful tools that I use everyday, that have become the content of my classes. These techniques really work to make lasting changes in the nervous system and I explain the science behind why this is in the classes.
