Join us on Saturday, November 15th, from 7 pm to 9 pm, as we welcome local musician, The Ardvark Felon to The Lounge!Frank Velardo is from Long Island, NY, but graduated from Hempfield HS and currently resides in Philadelphia, PA where he’s makes his living as a full-time musician. Frank plays in several different bands ranging in style, and he also lead’s his own group, The Ardvark Felon – electric blues, funk and psychedelic rock reminiscent of the late 60’s and early 70’s.
As a solo artist, Frank brings a dynamic energy to his performance. He is refreshingly raw and honest in his approach to delivering music – spontaneous, but polished; serious, yet absurd. He’s funky in all the right ways, and knows just when to turn up the heat with improvisations and jamming (even by himself). One moment, Frank could be playing a delicate original song, and the next moment he could be leading a corny
singalong that’s everyone’s in on.
He’s an animated performer, and he puts it all out there every time. It is clear that Frank is truly doing what he love, and his positive energy fills whatever room he’s in. It’s hard not to smile along and get lost in the sound as he takes his audience on a musical voyage into bliss, self-discovery and love.
Live in The Lounge performances are free events (no cover!) so come in and enjoy our green goods while soaking in good vibes and great music!
