Live Thursdays at @tprhull resume properly on Thursday 22nd January. What better way to start things off than with a couple of chilled out sets from our friends @gertieoliveshoshanna, @luincalen and @ian.davies.391.Gertie is a regular visitor to TPR, and every time she has performed here, it's never failed to make us all smile. She is an acoustic singer/songwriter who injects an energetic, humorous twist into her music. We're really looking forward to inviting her back to the TPR-sort-of-stage and can guarantee she'll make the 51 weeks of January feel that little bit better.
Lucian (Lucy & Ian) are an acoustic ukulele duo inspired by artists such as The Grateful Dead, John Prine, and Bonnie Riatt. Both of them are multi-instrumentalists and have been ingrained in the Hull music scene for millions of years, working on various projects. TPR regulars will recognise Lucy from one of her more recent engagements as a singer with a certain chaotic, under-rehearsed band, @buckfasttramp. It is also worth noting that Ian has one of the coolest looking ukes on the planet in his arsenal - it has a very similar appearance to a Fender telecaster, and sounds awesome too.
It's free entry/pay what you like via thankyu (if you can - don't worry, we know everyone is skint in January!). 8PM start, 18+ only.
