For our first Town Hall show of 2025 we have an absolute legend of the comedy world coming to Dewsbury. Alan Davies, star of QI and Jonathan Creek and veteran of the comedy circuit, is our headline act. You read that right, Alan flippin' Davies. Alan started performing comedy in 1988, and in 1991, he was named Time Out's Best Young Comic. He then won the Edinburgh Festival Critics Award for Comedy in 1994. He starred as the lead character in Jonathan Creek from 1997 to 2016. He's probably best known for being the only ever-present guest on QI, which he's been on since 2003. He hosts the super Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled on Dave and has also been a contestant on Taskmaster.
Our opening act is the superb Steff Todd, stand up comedian with a mega talent for impressions and is best known for her online smash-hit ‘Yorkshire Kardashians’. She’s also created many viral sketches with her iconic impressions of celebrities – from British TV icons to Hollywood stars.
Steff has built a dedicated following touring the country with her first nationwide tour ‘Guestlist’ and has just completed an extended run in 2024 due to popular demand. She has also supported the likes of Sara Pascoe, Dave Gorman, Rob Delaney & Iain Stirling.
