Imagine if mandolin player Chris Thile came to west Michigan and deputized a band of local musicians to take the "live from here" variety show concept and just run with it...

Then add to that great snacks and drinks, lovely people to enjoy the night with, and put it all in a cocktail shaker with pearl snap buttons. Mix vigorously for 30 seconds, and you'd have something like live from the glass house.

We've invited some of our very favorite local musicians, writers, poets, and singer songwriters to share the stage with us for a night of late summer cheer. The musical vibe will incorporate folk, roots, and americana, with songs you know and love, and some original numbers you're about to love.
