On September 26th 2024, Tech Powered Luxury will host “Live From Paris Fashion Week”, to showcase Irish design on the global stage at the Embassy of Ireland on Avenue Foch.
The Hôtel particulier was built in 1892 for the 8th Marquis de Breteuil (1846-1916). Henri-Charles Joseph Le Tonnelier was born into the famous Breteuil family, continuing a prestigious tradition of over 300 years in royal service and intellectual life. The Hôtel de Breteuil is the home of the Embassy of Ireland since 1954, marking its 70th anniversary this year. Today, it serves as a beautiful and prestigious setting in which to showcase the best of Irish design, innovation and culture.
The event will commence at 6PM with a fashion tour within the embassy, where guests will discover nine emerging fashion designers from Ireland - Aoife McNamra, Colin Burke, Tidings, The Landskein, The White Gallery, Roisin Linnane, Ros Duke, Kindred of Ireland and Laura Jayne Halton, who will also be creating live fashion illustrations on the night.
Award-winning founders of Ireland’s leading beauty brands Ella & Jo and Seoulista Beauty as well as jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman will be present on the night alongside fashion-tech start-up FFFACE ME, who will showcase world's first Semi-digital Jeans and its flagship AR Mirror system, featuring an AR Filter created in collaboration with Ines Alpha, for Prada Beauty’s latest fragrance, Paradoxe Virtual Flower.
The evening will proceed with a live podcast show at 7PM featuring leading figures from the key pillars of the design industry: Paul Sheeran (Paul Sheeran Jewellers), Bairbre Power (former Irish Independent Fashion Editor), Aoife McNamara (Ireland’s first BCorp certified fashion brand), Shana Chu (founder of fashion-tech platform Tailr) and Una McGurk (founder of cryo-powered skincare brand Seoulista Beauty).
The evening will finish with a private performance from Ireland’s leading pop group, Picture This, who recently starred in a campaign shot in Paris with global fashion and fragrance house Paco Rabanne.
Confirmed guests include members of the international media community (Forbes, Vogue), buyers from leading retailers around the world, international designers, leading figures from major luxury brands and retailers, influencers, entrepreneurs at the crossroads of luxury and technology as well as prominent Irish artists from entertainment and fashion.
The event is supported by tech partners ChatLabs and , communication and creative partners TwelveA.M. and Azure Communications, beauty brands Ella & Jo and Seoulista Beauty, as well as jewellery brand Chupi.
