Pat Byrne is an Irish singer songwriter based in Austin Texas. In 2012 he was crowned the winner of the first series of The Voice of Ireland, which led to the release of his debut album, All or Nothing. In 2017 he began to record in Austin, and by 2019 fully emigrated to Texas when he took the US by storm, with breakout performances at the 30A Songwriters Festival, SXSW, Kerrville Folk Festival, and Nashville’s Americana Festival. Live! Folklife Concerts are offered free to the public, with no reservations. Doors open at 6:30 pm for the 7 pm show. The Folklife Center will host a second free performance on Friday, May 2 at the Historic Salem Courthouse, 58 Broadway, Salem, NY 12865.
