Nicolas Babineau (modern fiddle, acoustic guitar) and Alexis Chartrand (baroque violin and foot percussion) offer a captivating dive into Quebec’s musical traditions. This is a free show with no reservations required. Doors open at 6:30 for the 7 pm performance. The Thursday evening concert will be recorded in a 3 camera shoot, later edited, and portions added to the Folklife Center's YouTube page www.youtube.com/thefolklifecenteratcrandallpubliclibrary.
A second free performance will take place on Friday, September 19, 7 pm at the Historic Salem Courthouse, 58 East Broadway, Salem, NY 12865.
