This 8-hour course is designed to help students: Become more proficient with their firearm under stress. Become safer with their firearm under stress. Learn how to engage an active threat. Learn proper use of cover. Demonstrate all aspects of tactical pistol shooting, including: Moving and shooting Reloading under stress Engaging multiple threats What to do after the incident Learn tactical medical procedures under stress. Learn basic room-clearing techniques for their home or other buildings. Live-Fire Shoothouse Training This course goes beyond traditional static range shooting by incorporating live-fire shoothouse training, allowing students to apply their skills in realistic, close-quarters scenarios. Students will engage threats while navigating through rooms, learning entry techniques, use of cover, and decision-making under pressure. This hands-on training provides a critical edge in home defense, active threat response, and real-world defensive scenarios. In today’s world, civilians may find themselves facing an active shooter or violent threat in their home, workplace, or public setting. Understanding room-clearing techniques and how to properly engage a threat can help protect themselves and others while minimizing risk. The instructor, Tommy Sapp, is a former SWAT Commander who has trained thousands of law enforcement officers, military personnel, SWAT teams, and civilians. This highly engaging course is not for beginners. All students must have basic training and experience with firearms.
