Live Debate with Washington's 3rd Congressional District Candidates

Join OPB’s “Think Out Loud®” for a live, hour-long debate with candidates from Washington's 3rd Congressional District – Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and Republican Joe Kent. The race for this open congressional seat is drawing national attention, as control of the House is up for grabs amid an environment of increasing polarization.

Host Dave Miller will moderate the debate, which will cover the economy, the environment, healthcare, foreign policy and other topics of concern to voters in Southwest Washington. OPB staff will moderate questions submitted by the live audience, depending on available resources. We ask the cooperation of audience members to refrain from yelling, cheering or engaging in other outbursts that would interrupt the debate and compromise creating a neutral forum to hear directly from the candidates in this race.
