This June MOTAT is showcasing the Road Transport collection, celebrating the history of vehicles in New Zealand and modern vehicle technology.Items on display include the recently restored Douglas BSA Ladies motorbike and gentleman's motorbike, the Chrysler Imperial, Ministry of Transport Mitsubishi V3000, FUSO Truck, A V8 International Engine on a stand running periodically, and an Austin A40 cutaway chassis.
There will be a Make and Take activity for the kids, Little Flick Rides at MOTAT 1, Steam Train rides at MOTAT 2, Trams running, the Blacksmith in the Forge, and more.
