The historic Zion Hill Baptist Church will be filled with the rich sounds of string music as Stephen F. Austin State University’s talented cello students, known as the SFA Cello Squad, perform a special concert on Tuesday, March 4th, at 7:00 p.m.The evening’s performance will showcase a dynamic cello ensemble, featuring Dr. Evgeni Raychev and guest violinist Dr. Jennifer Dalmas. Audiences can look forward to a diverse program, including works by renowned composers such as Will Sams, Ennio Morricone, P. Tchaikovsky, and J. S. Bach, along with engaging arrangements of popular songs. Designed to captivate listeners of all musical tastes, the concert promises an unforgettable experience in the stunning acoustic setting of Zion Hill.
Tickets for the concert are $5 and can be purchased at the C. L. Simon Recreation Center, at Zion Hill during operational hours, or online at Eventbrite.com. Proceeds from the event will support the continued care and preservation of Zion Hill, and donations collected during the evening will benefit the SFA School of Music
