ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Logan McKillop is a folk/roots singer-songwriter and storyteller from Onanole, Manitoba. Equally skilled as a wordsmith and a guitarist, every song is an invitation into the best of both worlds. He is unafraid to delve into what is real, exploring the highs and lows of the human condition with absolute honesty. With tens of thousands of touring kilometers under his belt, McKillop has played a show in every Canadian province and territory and has also toured throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.
Dalton Alexander is a multi-instrumentalist, field recordist, and songwriter from Aurora, Ontario. His blend of meandering instrumentation and found sounds from everyday life paint emotional pictures of almost-forgotten memories. In addition to his lyrical songs, Alexander’s affinity for vintage guitars and unusual tunings have yielded a body of instrumental works whose shifting time signatures and moods feel both ancient and forward-leaning at once. Their cadences flow like the landscapes that inspired them, celebrating the natural world and people striving to understand their places in it.
