MOSES MACKAY
Moses is part of Sol3 Mio, NZ’s opera phenomenon whose debut album spent an incredible 16 weeks at #1 and 8x Platinum status, with their second album x3 times platinum. Finding venues big enough to contain a constantly growing audience, and their completely natural, infectiously upbeat presence gets harder with each concert - 2015 saw them playing to over 40,000 Kiwis with every single show a surefire, fun- filled, sellout. They have been awarded the Pacific Music Album Tui Award twice and Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards Album Of The Year, Best Group and Highest selling NZ album, three years running.
LUDWIG TREVIRANUS
Wellington-born Ludwig Treviranus is of Samoan/German heritage and teaches piano at the University of Waikato, Albany School of Music, and Remuera Music Academy.
As a soloist, Ludwig has presented recitals around New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Tonga, Florida, and has appeared with Hutt Valley Symphony, Wellington Youth, and Taranaki Symphony Orchestras. His collaborations include performing with NZ School of Dance and Sol3Mio. In June 2021, Ludwig will record his compositions '12 Fantasy-Etudes' which will be published later in the year.
Holding a Doctorate of Music from Florida State University, he was a finalist for the Beethoven International Piano Sonata Competition in Memphis, Tennessee (2009) as well as the Florida State Music School Chopin Competition (2010). Before his studies in Florida, Ludwig held a scholarship as a Māori/Pacific Island scholar to complete his Master's degree at the University of Auckland.
