Voted ‘Best Cover Band of 2024’ by Planet S Magazine, The Mudd Brothers and their powerful cocktail of pawnshop acoustic guitars, mandolin, dobro, banjo and suitcase drums is picking up steam. The band has endeared itself to fans with the use of traditional instruments to create Americana versions of your favourite pop, rock, disco, funk, country, and folk tunes.Their début album ‘Dive Bar Superstars’ (BRC 2410) which delivers covers of hits such as Collective Soul’s ‘Shine’, Radiohead’s ‘High and Dry’ and Boney M’s ‘Rasputin’, has earned them a dedicated following. Listeners at home and abroad are consistently charmed by their ability to take well-known songs and give them a new spin.
They have entertained at the Lakeside Festival in Waskesiu, the Warman Exhibition Mainstage, The Dakota Dunes Casino, and performed on the Kinsmen TeleMiracle broadcast.
