On 26th June, we have an exciting and esteemed quintet from Leeds, plus an enchanting Manchester-based support, performing for the first time. For entry, we ask for £5 (cash/card). However, if you're a struggling student or don't have the means, we gladly accept £3.Likewise, if you're able and would like to contribute more, we gladly accept donations of £7.
All money goes towards the musicians, who we need to keep the events up and running!
Mu are a Leeds-based instrumental jazz outfit drawing inspiration from movements within the musical avant-garde. With a sound characterised rich compositions, explosive improvisation and intricate melodies; Mu aim to push at the boundaries of the small ensemble. Mu Quintet comprises of members of Ancient Infinity Orchestra, Matthew Halsall, Kinaara and Yard Nule.

Supporting will be brand new trio Kites.
Drawing on folk and choral influences, Kites combine the acoustic and electronic to create expansive vocal harmonies, ambient atmospheres and plenty of strings.
