Mark Macmillan began his musical career in the early ‘80s when he joined Matt Minglewood’s band as lead guitar player. Throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, Mark played with the Heartbeats, Theresa Malenfant, Laura Smith, and Prime Minister of the Blues Dutch Mason. Mark’s repertoire combines blues, rock 'n' roll, country, soul and jazz to create an eclectic mix of cover songs and originals. Now based in Pugwash, Macmillan's band features his drummer of twenty years Troy White (Amherst), upright bass player Jill Chambers (Parrsboro), and Zach Crawford (Halifax) on electric and steel guitar.
