Join us for an unforgettable holistic actors retreat in Ibiza with our founder Nita Arpiainen. This retreat will help you access and awaken the most important skills of an actor: authentic connection and listening, moment-to-moment living, the courage to follow your instincts, body and mind awareness and clarity of your dreams and goals. The mornings will start with gentle yoga, body awareness and meditation sessions and during the days we will run two sets of acting classes still leaving time to rest or explore the beautiful island.ABOUT THE EVENT
This acting retreat will help you to tap into (or uplevel) your acting skills, enhance your personal awareness and support you with tools to connect with your truth and alignement, as well as clarify your career and life goals.
How would it feel like to have the permission to be fully humane and wholesome? How would it feel to be fully seen and heard as your true self without masks? How would it feel to not fear confrontation or being connected and vulnerable with another?
Ever since childhood and throughout our lives we've learnt to close ourselves from our natural impulses, senses and emotions. We dive back into your true self, especially into your emotional life and its empowering spectrum, through Yoga & Meditation alongside with other tools and exercises. In a variety of group and partner exercises we will learn to express ourselves, truly listen to another and to be present.
The Meisner Technique acting classes will help you to access and express your truthful impulses based on your partner's behavior, through an exploration of the famous 'Repetition Exercise', 'Independent Activity' and 'Emotional Preparation'. The retreat suits beginners and all levels of Meisner students. At the end of the retreat, all pairs will have a rehearsed scene and the final scenes will be filmed. You will receive an edited scene for yourself.
Yoga, body awareness and meditation classes are built to connect you deeper into who you are, releasing restricting beliefs and patterns. This is crucial for creating a space that helps you tap deeper into your innate freedom and your unique acting instincts.

- Tools to train the mind to support overall wellness and empowerment to accomplish one's desired goals
- An edited version of your practiced scene filmed on the final day of the retreat

- Location: Santa Getrudis, Ibiza, Spain
- Full retreat tuition: 1.750€
The Tuition fee includes the following:
- Accommodation in a lovely villa in shared 2-person bedrooms
- Three delicious & healthy meals everyday (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Retreat acting class & coaching, yoga & meditation curriculum, approx. 5h per day
- An edited version of your practiced scene filmed on the final day of the retreat
Not included in the retreat tuition:
- Flights & transportation to the villa from airport and to airport
- Additional excursions
FOR ISLAND RESIDENTS:
If you are a resident on the island and would like to attend the retreat without the accommodation included please contact us.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
Book your spot by paying the deposit of 750€ / Final payment due December 22nd
OTHER:
- Place is limited and will be filled on a 'first-come-first-serve' basis.
- You do not need any previous experience, but a very open and willing attitude is required (see more details below)
- Teaching language is English (please keep in mind that you do not need to have perfect English skills, and you do not need to worry about accent and pronunciation).

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Deposit 750€ is paid by the time of booking (deposit non-refundable)
- Cancellations made before December 22nd, deposit non-refundable, remaining tuition not charged
- No tuition refunds after December 22nd, the student is eligible to pass on their place to another participant if they wish.
- In case the retreat needs to be cancelled due to covid related travel bans etc., students will receive back their whole tuition including the deposit
