But as adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations. In a war-torn world defined by gender, class, and personal tragedy, Jo March gives us her greatest story: that of the March sisters, four dreamers destined to be imperfect little women.

The story of the March sisters receives a breath of fresh air in this brand-new version that honors the spirit of Alcott’s original while freshly interpreting it for a new era. Kate Hamill’s sparkling adaptation will have audiences falling in love with the March sisters all over again as they grow from young girls to little women.
