Join us as we learn about the critters that call the Prairie Ridge pond home. Designed for early childhood audiences (ages 7 and under), this program will provide opportunities for hands-on observations and learning opportunities focusing on a variety of underwater organisms.This is a free program beginning at 10am at the Prairie Ridge pond platforms (follow the Prairie Trail over the ridge until you see the Bird Blind and pond at the bottom of the ridge). Come dressed for the weather and prepared to get wet! Please note that there will be opportunities for children to help collect organisms – if you would like your child to participate in this opportunity, we recommend that adults and children come dressed in waterproof shoes and that participants bring a change of clothes in case of an accidental pond tumble.
