Who doesn't love a fall harvest celebration?! It's the most wonderful time of the year, and we want to enjoy it with family and friends. We are hosting our first fall party and we want you and yours to join us. The theme is Little House on the Prairie with a twist (hence Pasture not Prairie) :) We are bobbing for apples, three legged racing, sack races, hoop and stick race (lots of races lol), hay rides, cider and donuts and animals galore! Come meet our new snuggly piggies Fitzgerald, Scarlet and Clementine!
If it all works out, we are going to wrap the evening up with a good ol' barn dance and caller. More details to come on that one.
As for the most important part, FOOD!
Dinner is all soups and chilis, potluck style. Bring something you know you're family will eat and a little extra for friends. If you're soup goes well with crackers/chips/fritos, feel free to bring a bag to share. Dessert is a pie contest! If you make the best pie, come show off :) We will have judging tickets to be turned in at each pie and the winner gets a new apron. SUPES Cute, promise. Drinks (warm and cold), all plates, bowls, napkins and silverware will be provided.
We don't normally charge for events, however this time around we are to offset the costs.
$20 per family.
We do have seating, but will most likely need more, so bring your bag chair for comfort :)
Gate opens at 4:30 and Dinner will be at 5:30, but food will be available till 7:30.
FAMILY PORTRAITS ARE AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $20. There will be a perfectly fall-y photo background set up and let's be real, most of us haven't had a great family photo in a year! Here's your chance. :) You will pay the photographers directly. Cash please.
Lastly, if you are still reading this far along...This is not a public event, but is open to family and friends. So yes, you can invite your inlaws, or your best friends, but don't share the post on facebook for all the people ;)
