No partner needed! All are welcome for this live band performance.Join us for Sunday Night Swing, a weekly social dance celebrating the music and dances of the Swing Era!
Before the social dance kicks off, we will have a beginner lesson taught at 6pm by ACSR's dance instructors. It is low pressure, it is fun, and you will leave knowing more than you walked in with. After the lesson, the floor opens up for the live band and social dancing where total beginners and longtime dancers share the same space and rotate partners throughout the night. The floor becomes a place where you can look a little goofy learning a new move and absolutely nobody cares, because everyone here was a beginner at one point.
Some things to know before you attend:
- No partner needed. Come solo and you will be just fine.
- Wear comfortable, closed toed shoes and leave the spiked heels at home.
- All attendees sign a waiver at the door.
- We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment.
Alamo City Swing Revival has been bringing San Antonio's swing dance community together since 2016 as a 501(c)(7) nonprofit. Every dollar goes right back to the dancers
