
About this Event
Join Little Forks Conservancy for Nature Craft Club, a bi-monthly series that combines creativity and sustainability. Each session features a unique crafting activity inspired by the environment or created with recycled materials. April's craft will be Nature Journaling at , on April 17th from 6-7:30 PM. Attendees will take a short hike of the preserve, before taking time to observe and create art inspired from the natural world around them.
What to Bring
- Notebook or journal
- Pencils, pens, paints, or any other preferred medium
- Blanket or chair - for comfortability when sitting and observing in the outdoors
- Clothing and footwear appropriate for weather conditions
Hiking Conditions
Attendees will take a short hike of the preserve, before stopping to observe the nearby environment to nature journal. In total, attendees will hike a little over a mile on rustic trails including dirt, grass, and boardwalks. Attendees should be prepared for potentially wet and muddy conditions.
Directions
Forestview Natural Area is located on Tittabawasee River Road, off of N Saginaw Road, heading towards Sanford from Midland. After turning onto Tittabawasee River Road from Saginaw, the gravel parking lot will be the first driveway on the right.
