Turkeys are active all year long, but fall is when people really take notice of them. From their heads to their feet, turkeys are designed to survive in the fields and forests of the region. Join Audubon to learn more about turkeys and along the way, look closely at their feathers and feet, figure out what a snood is, and learn how they survive the fall and winter months. After a short indoor lesson, head outside to think like a turkey to find food and shelter. A snack is provided after the hike and a craft is offered if there is time.
