Little Eaton Carnival - Crowning, Picnic on the Park and Tug-of-War Competition

The official launch of Little Eaton Carnival Week is marked by our Crowning Afternoon.
From 2pm onwards...Everyone is encouraged to bring their own picnic, blanket and chairs to our picnic on the park.
2:20pm Our crowning ceremony begins with the introduction of this year's attendants and crown bearer, followed by the coronation of our 2024 Carnival Queen, Esmee by our outgoing monarch, Jess.
The team from The Village Pre-school will be selling cream teas and hot drinks from the lower level of the village hall.
Mastroianni's Ices will be onsite in their traditional ice-cream van.
They'll be live music from the Ecclesbourne School Swing Band, plus the always popular bouncy castle slide.
Ducks being sold £2 each ahead of our Duck Race on Wednesday 3rd July, with a winning prize of £200.
Around 3:10pm sees the start of our Tug-of-War competition. With several of our local gyms and pubs signed up - this year's promises to be a crowd pleaser.
