About this Event
Due to popular demand, we’re bringing back our Youth Culinary Programs! The session of “Little Chefs” will take place on Tuesday afternoons 3:30-5:30pm from October 1st - 22nd.
After registration, we will contact you via email and send you a confidential multipurpose form to fill out regarding participants (child’s) name, age, allergies, photo waiver, etc. (even if you have attended the classes before). This program will run with a similar structure as previous “Little Chef” programs, but with new recipes, techniques, and culinary realms to explore.
Our “Little Chefs” program is a 4-week culinary journey designed for young minds aged 6-8. This program hosted by Zest Commercial Food Hub, with the folks at “Bite and Beverage Culinary Academy” helps budding foodies develop age-appropriate chef skills, nurturing healthy relationships with food, all while promoting independence in both snack and meal creation. Under the careful guidance of professional elementary teacher Becky Dochstader and world-traveled and technically-trained chef William Miller, each class carefully builds food fundamentals, kitchen safety and of course… delicious recipes. Your little ones will discover the joy of turning simple ingredients into culinary creations while fostering important life-long skills and a love for cooking.
Our classes are specially designed for young culinary enthusiasts to spread their wings and develop independence in the kitchen. While we deeply appreciate the support of parents and guardians, our sessions are structured as a drop-off program, allowing kids the freedom to explore, learn, and grow under the expert guidance of Becky & Will at “Bite and Beverage”. This learning environment is designed so students can express their creativity, build self-reliance, and engage fully in the culinary experience. We’re excited to lead your young chefs on this journey of discovery and skill-building.
