Designed for young, picky eaters, our engaging workshops will delight children while teaching them to love healthy, delicious food.
??? Who: Pre-K chefs ages 2-4 and children ages 5-13 (accompanied by parents/guardians)
? When: Saturdays this Fall - September 21st, October 26th, and November 16th
?️ What: Hands-on cooking workshops split into age-appropriate groups
Each session includes:

Let's level up your little chef's skills in the kitchen! In this workshop, we'll dive right into knife skills by making farm-fresh personal pizzas in our wood-fired oven. Registered dietitian Anastasia and Urban Roots staff will be your sous chefs, ensuring your child thrives in the kitchen. Every Little Chef will take home seeds to start their own garden and a freshly harvested farm ingredient.

Adding (enough) vegetables to meals can be tricky, but in this workshop, your little chef will try new flavors while making homemade pumpkin pasta. Anastasia and Urban Roots sous chefs will share tips for adding and introducing new foods. Every Little Chef will take home seeds to start their own garden and a miniature pumpkin!

Your Little Chef will become a Star Baker! We’ll explore measuring ingredients and following a recipe to bake mini cakes using honey from Urban Roots bees. Anastasia and Urban Roots sous chefs will guide you through this delightful recipe. Every Little Chef will take home seeds to start their own garden and a freshly harvested farm ingredient.
