Come along to Little Acorns and watch your child grow through nature.
This session we invite your little ones to bring their favourite teddy bear to join in the fun at Earth Trust. Build a shelter, make a mud pie and serve your teddies some summertime herbal drinks.
In our beautiful gardens we will be investigating summer, connecting with nature through craft activities and gardening – harvesting some of our vegetables from the kitchen garden as well as the usual mud kitchen and water play areas.
At the end of the session we’ll all come together for a special story for all the teddies and children with an elderflower lollipop made from our very own elderflower trees.
After the event, enjoy a picnic in our beautiful gardens, grab an ice cream and coffee from our pop up café and relax.
Our Little Acorns sessions run every school holiday and feature a variety of seasonal activities for children to discover, inspired by the natural world. They are child-led experiences, so our tutors support and guide children, but do not direct them, to allow each child to lead their own learning while developing their curiosity for nature.
Suitable for ages 2 – 6 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult (one adult per max 2 children).
