Let's all get together once again for the annual Tennessee River Rescue hosted by WaterWays. As we do each year, Keep Soddy-Daisy Beautiful will be hosting a gathering at Big Soddy Creek Gulf.Date: Saturday, October 4th, 2025

What to Bring:
Refillable water bottle
Bug spray and sunblock
Proper clothing (jacket?, long sleeves, pants)
Shoes you don’t mind getting dirty or boots
We Provide:
Gloves, safety vests, trash grabbers, and trash bags
Water (to refill your bottle)
Light refreshments. Probably some bagels, coffee, etc.

This is more than just a cleanup—it’s a chance to connect with fellow community members, enjoy one of Soddy-Daisy’s most stunning natural areas, and make a real impact. Every helping hand makes a difference!
The Tennessee River Rescue is an annual community-led clean-up of the Tennessee River and some of its tributaries. This event occurs on the first Saturday of October every year. It began over 35 years ago with a group of Chattanooga residents motivated to have the community clean up the river.
