Join East Whiteland Township, Helping Hands of Chester County and the Chester County Litter Lifters for our biggest cleanup yet!Sunday, 9/21 meet us at the East Whiteland Township Firehouse at 8am as we work to tackle the litter problem near the 401/202 bypass. This cleanup will see the support of East Whiteland township safety services.
We cleaned this interchange 2 years ago and collected 80 bags of litter with 25 volunteers. Help us in organizing and getting a Litter Pick Up group started. Must be 15 years of age and older and will need a parent signature if under 18.
All supplies (bags, gloves, vests) will be provided — just bring your energy and community pride!
Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes, bring a small backpack to carry trash bags and a filled water bottle.
Volunteers should arrive promptly at 8 AM- but if needed can leave early.
