December’s Literary Tea-event will focus on Charles Dickens. (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870) Charles John Huffman Dickens was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the world’s best-known fictional characters and is regarded by many as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era. His works enjoyed unprecedented popularity during his lifetime and, by the 20th century, critics and scholars had recognised him as a literary genius. His novels and short stories are widely read todayYou are welcome to dress up or the time period or as one of Dickens characters. We will create a themed Afternoon Tea Service which includes food selections from the time period of the author or favorites of his characters. Our wine menu will be available.
This event is appropriate for both adults and teens.
