Literacy for Kids presents Freedom Braids, with author Monica Duncan

Join us for a wonderful morning with author, Monica Duncan. She will present her beautiful picture book, Freedom Braids. Learn how cornrow patterns & hidden items were used by enslaved African people to gain freedom. One adult permitted per child's ticket (Please do not purchase a ticket for adults). Limit of 12 children total. Homeschoolers ages 6- 13 welcome. Registration is required. Entry Instructions will be emailed to confirmed registrants.
