Lita Ford’s career began in 1975 as a founding member and guitarist of the groundbreaking all female group the Runaways. The groups hard rock / punk edge spawned hits like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens of Noise.” Lita and the Runaways proved their timelessness in 2014 when “Cherry Bomb” was featured in the critically acclaimed Marvel / Disney Studios hit movie “Guardians Of The Galaxy” and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Since the start of 2018 Lita has been more present than ever in major media and publications. Filming 24 plus episodes of AXS TV’s hit series “Top 10 Revealed”, NatGeo TV’s “Decades Remixed” and a top BBC series focusing on iconic musicians playing styles and their gear. Along with appearances in both the Suzi Quatro and Girls School documentaries. Lita also contributed to two upcoming major release books “The History of Hard Rock” by Tom Beaujour and “No Encore” by Drew Fortune. The year finished out with Lita again being bestowed three more prestigious honors. The Hollywood FAME Producers Choice “Icon” Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2019 “Legend” Inductee Nomination into the Hall of Heavy Metal History and a life sized digital portrait of her ionic one of a kind double neck guitar will be on exhibit at London’s Saatchi Gallery presented by “The Art of Capture” photographer KaneHibberd.2021 marked another major milestone in Ford’s career. On July 26th, by request, Lita presented The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland OH, her iconic Morice IIB.C. Rich Warlock guitar. The guitar currently is on exhibit in the main foyer at The Rock Hall.Dee Snider While perhaps best known as the lead singer of 80's sensation, Twisted Sister, there is so much more to Dee Snider. He has starred in several reality TV shows including appearances in three seasons of Celebrity Apprentice; Gone Country with John Rich; MTV’s Rock The Cradle with his son Jesse; Growing Up Twisted, an A&E series featuring the entire Snider family and their Long Island lifestyle; ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, and Celebrity Holiday Homes. He is also a frequent host on MTV Networks and his own long running nationally syndicated radio show House Of Hair is heard on more than 200 stations in North America, houseofhaironline.com. His career as voiceover artist has resulted in Dee being heard in many radio and TV commercials, documentaries, and a yearlong stint as the voice on MSNBC. Dee’s hit song-writing credits extend to many genres of music and have been covered by major artists the world over. Celine Dion’s version of “The Magic Of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone) was a significant part of her multi-platinum “These Are Special Times” album. Dee continues to perform, both as a solo artist and as the front man of his band, TwistedSister.Since starring in Rock Of Ages and recording his critically acclaimed CD “Dee Does Broadway, Dee Snider’s Broadway connection has continued togrow.While currently writing a musical version of Mark Twain’s “Letters from the Earth” and producing the off-Broadway “Puppet Shakespeare “troupe, “Dee Snider’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Christmas Tale” is coming to Broadway in Chicago this fall, with plans to bring it to the Great White Way in 2015.
