About this Event

Join The Doylestown Bookshop’s Winter Workshop Series as we host various authors who will present a variety of topics for upcoming, newly published, or seasoned writers.

This workshop requires tickets. There are multiple options, listed below. The ticket options that include books offer excellent value, as the authors will personally sign the books, as well as additional books purchased at The Doylestown Bookshop during the evening of the workshop.

Space is limited; tickets are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend the workshop, we will hold your books for you for up to two weeks. Any books that have not been picked up or arranged to be shipped by the two-week mark will be donated.

In this hands-on session, we’ll explore ways to:
• identify the ideas that won’t let you go—the ones strong enough to last, and
• harness your own curiosity as a guiding force, keeping you engaged through every stage.

Whether writing short or writing long, the only way you can reach The End is to write a story that won’t let you go. Bring pen and paper and let’s have some creative fun!

About Our Guest:

Kathryn Craft is the award-winning author of two novels from Sourcebooks, The Art of Falling and The Far End of Happy. Her two-decade tenures as dancer/choreographer, dance critic for The Morning Call newspaper in Allentown, PA, and freelance developmental editor have merged to inform her perspective about story movement. Building on her bachelor's and master's degrees in education, it has been her great joy to share the craft of writing by mentoring novelists, most recently through her Your Novel Year program, and by speaking at dozens of venues where people thirst to write, from writing groups, conferences, and libraries to in-patient rehabs and grief support groups. She lives with her husband in Doylestown, PA.
