Join poet and writer Fallon Vaughn as she hosts the inaugural write-in and community reading for Lit & Lounge.
Lit(erary) and Lounge is a writing salon inspired by The Sisterhood, which was formed by legendary writers Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, and Jessica Harris (to name a few) to support, promote, and sustain Black women and their literary endeavors.
Lit & Lounge will host monthly meetups where all women of color are invited to write together regardless of skill or genre, discuss Black literature, and inspire each other in their creative endeavors.
