This year marks the 25th anniversary of Coldplay's landmark debut album, Parachutes.
From the global anthem "Yellow" to the aching beauty of "Trouble" and the delicate yearning of "Shiver," Parachutes established Coldplay as one of the most important new bands of the 21st century. The album's intimate lyrics, soaring falsettos, and delicate acoustic arrangements created an ethereal soundscape that continues to captivate listeners today.
Before the main album, we will also explore Coldplay's influences as well as their impact on artists that came after them. Expect to hear tracks from bands including R.E.M., Echo and the Bunnymen, Oasis, U2, David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, a-Ha and many more.
