Listening to Fargo is a community-based listening series with mayoral candidate Josh Boschee, designed to meet Fargo residents where they are and hear directly from them about what’s working, what isn’t, and what they want for the city’s future. Good leadership starts by showing up, asking questions, and listening.
Across four locations spanning the city of Fargo, Josh will sit down with residents not to give a speech, but to listen. Each session will be guided by a Neighborhood Ambassador, a trusted community member who helps facilitate conversation and ensures every voice has space in the room.
Too often, residents feel disconnected from local government unsure whether their concerns are heard or reflected in decision-making. Listening to Fargo is about changing that dynamic by creating space for thoughtful, respectful conversation. What Josh hears will directly inform his priorities, policy positions, and leadership approach as mayor.
These conversations will focus on practical, everyday issues facing Fargo neighborhoods, including housing, public safety, infrastructure, cost of living, neighborhood growth, and what Fargo needs next.
Everyone is welcome to attend any community event locations.
