Listening Skills Training

In the first part of the training we will take some minutes for introductions and also reflect on what will (and what is not) going to be covered in this training; afterwards participants are invited to state their learning objectives and to prioritise them on what they consider most valuable for their experience.

Factors Influencing

We’ll start this workshop understanding the factors that influence our ability to listen attentively and been given strategies for overcoming listening difficulties.

Understanding Your Communication Style

In this session we explore the art of listening, offering you some techniques to help you listen more carefully and to pick up on deeper meanings that may emerge through follow up questioning. Get a different perspective!

Verbal Communication Abilities

By the end of this session participants will have learned the difference between listening and hearing what is being said. They will have gleaned ways of concentrating on the words so that every conversation is beneficial. And according to their schedules and needs, they will be given types of questions, developing the habit in dialogue.

Managing High Emotions

In this session, we find a glimmer of empowerment for participants, through the building of intelligence and the ability to recognise how emotions impact thought and decision-making.

They will learn the skills to handle these emotions in an appropriate manner which are vital for career and life success.

Useful Techniques for Creating an Optimal Brainstorming Atmosphere

In this class we will discuss ways to develop listening skills and to hear everything that people say. Participants will learn details about hearing better!

Summary of Workshop

After the workshop, students will have some time to ask questions or discuss anything on their minds, and prepare their own bespoke action plan to continue the progress.
