This annual Foodways Research Symposium is a platform for students and an opportunity for scholars to share knowledge and ideas that contribute to the preservation and connection of Gullah Geechee and other African Diaspora communities. The event features student research presentations, practitioner lectures, and community workshops that foster understanding and strengthen ties within the study of Gullah Geechee cultural heritage.
