Like gas station sushi, it has come back. The September edition of Listen to This that was postponed by the arrival of Hurricane Helene will finally have its platform, rising from the splashes with a theme that feels more timely than ever: "Epicurroneous" - true tales of eating/drinking things by mistake or misunderstanding.This Friday, November 22nd, now at Citizen Vinyl in downtown Asheville, Listen to This, stories and more on stage, returns to deliver on its promise of one of the most curious themes in the series' history - "Epicurroneous." A portion of the proceeds will go to Hurricane Helene food relief efforts at Equal Plates Project.
featuring stories by Brenda Lilly, Robin Plemmons, Gary Sizer, Kim Richardson, and more
songs by Chris Tullar (of Carpal Tullar) and stand-up comedy from Larry Griffin
hosted by Tom Chalmers
plus a "Wish I Hadn't Opened My Mouth" mini-story open mic segment
