About this Event
Get ready for an exhilarating outdoor adventure with Lisa Roper Outdoors! We're thrilled to host the 4th Annual Lisa Roper's Ladies On Ice Fishing Adventure on the picturesque Lac La Biche Lake, Alberta. This two-day event, from March 8th at 8:00 a.m. to March 9th at 2:00 p.m., is the perfect blend of excitement, education, and empowerment!
Whether you're an experienced ice-fishing angler or trying it for the first time, this adventure promises to fuel your passion for the sport and help you catch a few more fish. Our fun, hands-on activities are designed to boost your ice-fishing confidence and transform you into an angler who inspires others.
In addition to our dedicated female volunteers, we have special guests, including Fish and Wildlife Sheriffs and Conservation Officers, who will share their expertise on ethical and sustainable fishing practices. You'll also have the opportunity to learn from an Indigenous Elder, who will open the event with a traditional ceremony and share her wisdom and insights into the history and significance of the land and water we are privileged to fish on.
Join our community of amazing volunteers in the great outdoors as we guide you through warm fishing tents and interactive workstations—most of which occur on Saturday! This adventure is more than just fishing; it's about making connections, building skills, and growing together as strong, vibrant female anglers.
This event is for women 18 and older, with some flexibility for 16-year-olds accompanied by a female adult.
