About this Event

Lisa Molinaro was born in Ischia(Italy) where she received her first instruction and her Baccalaureat at

the classical High school. Her family is not a musicians’ family but since she was a child she always had a

great passion for the music and for every form of art.

Thereby while she was at school, she was admitted at the music Conservatory ”Domenico Cimarosa” in

the class of M. Lina Tufano, and on March 2011 she received her degree in piano with “summa cum

laude” presenting an experimental program entirely based on Ravel music. Her interest in French music

led her to take an advanced course in Paris in 2013-2014 with the pianist Huseyin Sermet.

Lisa was awarded in many musical competitions: second prize at the “international piano competition

“Vietri sul mare” in Amalfi Coast; second prize at the “Carles and Sofia piano competition”, first prize at

the “international competition of execution and musical composition Don Vincenzo Vitti”(Bari); first

prize at the ”concours musical de France” in Paris; second prize at the “international competition

Gianluca Campochiaro” in Sicily; in 2019 first prize at the “Amsterdam virtuoso piano competition” ;

first prize at the “Golden Classical music Awards” (New York); second prize at the North International

Music Competition and second prize at the “international music competition Brussels”( thanks to she has

had the opportunity to perform at the Studio Recital Hall at Centre for Fine Arts of Brussels); most

recently, first prize at the “concours international de piano”Albert Roussel” in Sofia thanks to she has a

some concerts in the Bulgarian capital; first prize at the “European competition ”don Matteo Colucci”;

third prize at “Ischia” international piano competition, honorable mention at the “Risingstar-Grandprix”

of Berlin; second prize at the “King’s Peak international piano competition”; third prize at the 2021

“American music talent competition” by the American Youth Musician Union; honorable mention at the

“Bradshaw and Buono international piano competition” of New York etc.

She played for many musical associations and festivals (festival “Pianocity” in Naples and Milan,

“Leonel Morales and friends music festival” in Granada, William Walton’s Foundation(London-Ischia),

“BOZAR”(“Centre of fine arts”) in Bruxelles, Earth and People National Museum (Sofia), Association

“Amici della musica”of Alcamo, musical Association “Giuseppe Albanese”(Palermo), “Euroarts academy


concerts series”(Germany), “Academie Maurice Ravel” in Saint Jaen de Luz, Salle Yamaha in Paris,

”Marevivo” association, Napolinova association, ”Premio internazionale di poesia Ciro Coppola”,

Conservatoire municipal Chatillon Montrouge, Conservatory of music “D. Cimarosa”, philosophy’s

Festival “la filosofia, il castello e la Torre” (Ischia) etc…).

In summer 2016 she was selected to participate to the summer courses of the “Academie internationale de

musique Maurice Ravel” in Saint- Jaen de Luz and during this experience she held some concerts and

public Masterclasses, where she obtained numerous feedback by public.

She took part in several Masterclasses with some famous Professors as Olivier Gardon, Giuseppe

Devastato, Huseyin Sermet, Alexander Hintchev, Pasquale Iannone and Jean- Claude Pennetier. She

performs regularly as soloist and in chamber formations and her repertoire includes most of the works by

Ravel, Albeniz, De Falla, Debussy, Poulenc, Clementi, Scarlatti, Haydn, Beethoven, Liszt, Prokofiev,

Messiaen, Bartok, Grieg and Berio.

She cooperated as accompanying pianist in the class of double bass of Maestro M. Rino Zurzolo at the

Conservatory “Nicola Sala”(Benevento) and in the class of piano of Maestro Lina Tufano at the

Conservatory “Cimarosa”(Avellino).

Recently she has recorded some pieces by Rachmaninov and Grieg for the movie “Frammenti” selected

for some important international film festivals.

In addition to her musical studies, she attended University studies and in 2016 she obtained a law degree

at the University of Law in Naples, specializing in music and entertainment law.

As for the music, she cultivates a strong interest in art in general, in particular in the field of the

illustration of children’s books, taking part in some collective exhibitions and collaborating with some

editors.

Currently she is studying at Accademia Musicale Europea in the class of Giuseppe Devastato in Naples

and in the class of Olivier Gardon at the Euro arts Academy of music.
