Dr. Lisa Kohut is a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), certified School Psychologist (Ed.S.), and certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Illinois. She holds a Doctorate in School Neuropsychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an Ed.S. from Kent State University, and a Master’s in Community Counseling from the University of Akron.
For more than two decades, Dr. Lisa has helped individuals, leaders, and communities experience transformation through the integration of faith, neuroscience, and psychology. She is the author of Friendship with the Holy Spirit, The Healing Path of the Soul, Dream Mysteries: Understanding Your Dreams Through the Lens of the Holy Spirit, and The Heaven-Based Life Coaching Handbook.
As the founder of Heaven Based Life Coaching, Dr. Lisa equips people to live powerful, purpose-driven lives in partnership with the Holy Spirit and to walk in alignment with their divine identity and calling.
She is also the co-founder of Restorative Retreats.ai with Shelly Lawler—a faith-based mental health retreat and speaking platform that promotes healing in spirit, soul, and body. Dr. Lisa’s passion is to help others connect deeply with their divine purpose, find freedom through forgiveness, and live from a place of peace, presence, and spiritual authority.
