Liquid Love is a band that pays homage to the legendary Freddie Hubbard, one of the most influential trumpet players in history. Comprised of seven exceptionally talented musicians, Liquid Love boasts Dan Donofrio on trumpet, Greg LaPine on saxophone, Darren Litzie on keyboards, Mike Godette on guitar, David Livolsi on bass, and Tyger MacNeal on drums, and Tony Cintron on percussion.
These remarkable individuals have had the privilege of recording and performing with esteemed artists such as John Scofield, Average White Band, Jason Mraz, Gerald Veasley, and many others. Our mission is to honor the timeless music of Freddie Hubbard by delivering a diverse repertoire that encompasses his early Blue Note recordings as well as his later CTI sessions.
