A long time ago, in a neighborhood not that far away, a band was born. It all began in the basement at the infamous 104 Davis house in 1994. The band, Liquid Courage, took shape there, and not long after, they played their first show at Gigs Music Theater in Downtown Anchorage. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the band forming and in an unfortunate twist of fate, it also marks the passing of the original Liquid Courage drummer, Jeremiah Billings.
Liquid Courage members Kyle Novak, Eric Pederson, and Dave Holt are reuniting to honor Jeremiah. They will be playing one show only at Koot’s on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Our special guests, Black Barrel And The Band Men, will be opening the show. Drummer, Dave Vajdos, was an original member of Freedom 49, who played many shows along side Liquid Courage.
A dedication will be given by Sarah Pederson, followed by a special song performance by Jeremiah’s daughter, Tambria.
