The presentation highlights the impact of the skills gap on productivity, innovation, and competitiveness, and proposes actionable solutions that focus on industry–education partnerships and continuous upskilling programs.
Ultimately, it emphasises the need for collaborative efforts between businesses, educators, and policymakers to build a future-ready workforce. Gaining insights into leaders in their field from Alison Watson and Mark Johnson who share their views on these issues first hand.
An open panel discussion will then follow after the presentations to allow honest conversations based around hard hitting truths about the industry, allowing open and honest conversations around the topic and how people can do small things to make big, long term change
