Joining us will be former British & Irish Lions captains Alun Wyn Jones OBE, Sam Warburton OBE and Martin Johnson CBE. The dinner will be held at the Vale Resort, Cardiff on Thursday 15th May, 2025.Alun Wyn Jones is one of only four players to have been selected to play on four Lions tours (2009, 2013, 2017 and 2021). The Lions captain also became the first Lion to make 13 Test appearances. His greatest hour coming in 2013 when he captained the Lions in the decisive third Test win in Sydney to seal a first series win in 16 years.
Sam Warburton OBE joined an exclusive club during the 2017 tour to New Zealand, as he became only the second man to captain the Lions twice, and stands as the only undefeated Lions captain in history during tours of 2013 and 2017 respectively.
Martin Johnson CBE was a giant of the game in all senses winning every prize in rugby. England’s only Rugby World Cup-winning captain and twice leader of the Lions. An iconic series win over the Springboks 2-1 in 1997 cemented his place in rugby history.
The evening will commence at 7.00pm and will include a three-course dinner, live auction and charitable raffle. The dress code is lounge suits and dresses.
Tables of 10 are available from £1,500+VAT. A quantity of individual covers on shared tables of 10 are also available at £150+VAT per person. We also have a limited number of Platinum tables available at £1,800+VAT. You will receive a selection of fine wine along with prime location seating for the main event.
