There will also be an unexpected touch as Phil has arranged some of the famous pieces for four clarinets! This will be a celebration of the clarinet, so clarinettists and clarinet lovers, don’t miss out!
The South Perth Lions Big Band has existed for seventeen years and performs on the fourth Friday of each month for ballroom dancing at the South Perth Community Centre Hall. The band has performed twice for the Australian Institute of Dancing’s Annual championships and has been described by them as ‘probably Australia’s best ballroom dancing band’. The band members are looking forward to demonstrating their jazz chops at this concert.
