About the outreach
LionReach is a citywide volunteer initiative that seeks to show care and kindness to our community through respectful conversations, practical blessing, and prayer when welcomed.
This Saturday, we’ll be heading to an HDB estate near Song Lin Building to gently engage residents — offering snacks, friendly conversation, and prayer only if they are open.
There will be no pressure, no scripts, and no obligation. We prioritise dignity, consent, and sensitivity at all times.
Programme flow:
• Breakfast provided
• Short internal gathering with worship, testimonies & practical briefing
• Outreach in small teams of 2–3
• Respectful engagement with residents (snacks, conversation, prayer if welcomed)
• Debrief, reflections & follow-up
Who is this for?
• Volunteers who want to serve the community in a gentle and respectful way
• First-timers — no prior outreach experience needed
• Those who want to grow in compassion, listening, and care for others
Leaders will be present throughout, and volunteers will always be paired in teams.
